The Radix Endeavor
Part of my work at the MIT Education Arcade involved creating levels, quests, and interactions for various subject areas. Below is a sampling of my work, including the design of two ecosystem simulations and the interactions within quests on ecology, evolution, and statistics.
Customer Service Interaction
Below is an example of an interaction I wrote for a corporate training e-learning module on customer service. Trainees are allowed to continue even when they make mistakes, but some wrong answers will result in the simulated customer not providing important details.
nuWorld is a game concept that was created for the UNAOC Create competition as part of MIT's Games for Social Change class. My primary contributions to this project were in interaction design and project management, leading a team of undergraduates with little game design experience. The documents below show the overall structure of the game, as well as details on the first conversation.
